About Me

I was born in Mount Kisco, New York, in 1981. After I graduated from JFK Catholic High School, I went on to receive a BA in cCriminology from Wilkes University and a master’s in accounting from the University of Phoenix. I went on to marry my now husband, Adam Shortsleeve, thus becoming Laura Shortsleeve. I lives in Starksboro, Vermont, VT with my husband and daughter. I am an avid reader and knitter. I am also involved in TKD with my daughter and a stay-at-home mom. After my daughter started kindergarten, I decided to fulfill my dream of writing and thus started my writing journey by writing my first book, Fiona.
