About the event
Phoenix Books Burlington is thrilled to host local Vermont author, Laura Shortsleeve to celebrate the publication of her first novel, Fiona. Join us in the Essex location for the book signing event and stay to enjoy author giveaways and goodies.
Laura Shortsleeve was born in Mount Kisco, New York, in 1981. After graduating from JFK Catholic High School, continued her education and receive a BA in cCriminology from Wilkes University and a master’s in accounting from the University of Phoenix. She then went on to marry her now husband, Adam Shortsleeve, thus becoming Laura Shortsleeve. She lives in Starksboro, Vermont, VT with her husband and daughter. She is an avid reader and knitter, involved in TKD with her daughter and a stay-at-home mom. After her daughter started kindergarten, she decided to fulfill her life-long dream of writing and thus started her writing journey by writing her first book, Fiona.
